Hello and welcome to Recycled State.

Recycled State came to be in the summer of 2010.  I took a trip to coastal Georgia and saw some really great artwork made from recycled materials (mostly bicycle parts and street signs).  It was super expensive.  So, I thought, "hey! I've got an art degree that hasn't been used in a decade.  Maybe I could make some cool stuff and offer it to the world at a reasonable price."  So here we are.

Old sun faded wood has always had an allure to me.  Making decorative art with it was a perfect fit.  Dirty old wood is maybe not the easiest thing in the world to work with, but I just love how it matches beachy coastal kind of themes.
